Oh what a fun night last night---got to have a girls night with two of my favorite people--Rachel and Stephanie--we went out to eat at the brick and talked "shop" for a while---had some awesome Cajun chicken bites---yummmmm--I love hot and spicy----but my burger that I ordered wasn't so hot---it kinda fell apart on me---to be honest but it would have been amazing I think if I hadn't gotten it medium rare---but I love my steak medium rare so I just expected the same result--not the case what so ever. oh well! :-)
I love girls night out because I feel like I'm an episode of Sex and the City---talking about boys, boyfriends, other girls, relationships and or course the obvious--- ;-)
We finished up our round of beverages and then headed down the short walk to Creegens--my first time to go there since it had opened and I was impressed!--if you love the pub atmosphere then this is right up your alley--with an upstairs bar and patio outside it is just so appealing to the eye---great place for "the boys" to come and watch the game and perfect for the girls who want that little something extra. Not to mention that my favorite bartender works there!--Sara--AKA Gary. love that girl!
Things are coming together slowly with our house---got an email from the lady who is living there now and everything is on schedule! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that nothing happens to slow it down.
I am at work today---SLOWEST day ever! Watching people buy there fruits and vegetables from the farmers next door to us----there are some funny characters. And now I'm just cruising facebook trying to decide what to add to my birthday list--most of it is home decor items--go figure huh?? I can't help it--when it comes to clothes, shoes, accessories, and home decor and furniture--I'm just a kid in a candy store. I have worked in retail since I was 16--I'll be 25 next month--so you do the math--I have been managers, inventory specialists, loss prevention,---I have worked on commission in my last 2 jobs with Alltel and AT&T and while I kicked ass at my job--I'm really glad to be out of that line of work. I miss clothes though----working with clothes--not that I miss wearing clothes---but what if we didn't have clothes?? we would walk around naked--no shoes--no hats--nothing to protect us from the sun--could you imagine the world just the way it is but with no clothes???---weird and gross at the same time----but do you think that people would be more in tune with how they look and take better care of themselves?--probably not.
I did love the cell phone business though--it really opened a whole new world to me in retail. Made me realize how much I enjoy electronics---I always have but just lost sight of it--now we have ipods--digital cameras--xbox--PlayStation's--GPS---digital video cameras---and cell phones that are small enough that you can hide them in your sock---well--if you wanted to. I have the new Blackberry Torch!---I just got it the other day--my mom went and upgraded her phone because she had dropped her Blackberry in the toilet!--whoops!----so she upgraded to the torch and did an insurance claim to get another Blackberry just like hers---she decided that she didn't like the torch so she passed it on to me and she went back to her old Blackberry.-----I honestly think that she just made up things she didn't like about the phone just so I would take it because she knows how much I wanted it. :-) Because I know that she really liked the phone---I could tell. You can't pull a fast one on me mom. ;-) But thanks. Love you. But yea we have soo many different things to choose from these days---I think as a society we are extremely spoiled. Society as a whole tells us how to dress, act, what to eat, and what is socially acceptable----well i'm here to say that it's a whole big bag of crap---if I want to covered from head to toe with tattoos why can't I be??--because society says your scary or not proffesional if you have tats?!---that is your opinion only---ANYWHO--i'll save the big long speach for another day.
Love EVERYONE!---Stay GREEN!! Please don't litter---our world has already been through enough.
:-)
