The beginning

So I'm starting this blog because I have a ton of free time and I thought that sharing my every day experiences about work, relationships, every day news, and being a mom might be insightful for some people.
My name is Meagan, and I'm 24 from Arkansas. I have a 8 month old little boy named Liam.
Just to set the scene this blog is mostly dedicated to giving you a glimpse of what has been happing up unitl now.
Ross (my boyfriend and father of my child) and I have been together now for just over 2 years--although we have known each other for about 3 years. We got pregnant and now here we are with a beautiful little boy. We started out as friends, which I believe is the only way relationships can really survive and prosper, not to say that I haven't seen other relationships work--but in my experience I would much rather really know the person before committing myself to a relationship---whats the point? I get it---the unknown is very seducing---and I have fallen victim to that on more than one occassion--and then left emotionally battered and bruised from either the lies--deceit--or just the "up and leaving" all together--not to say that I myself am a saint because believe me when I say that I am the farthest from that. I have brought my fair share of heartbreaks over the course of my very short 24 years of life---not proud of in any sense of the word--but we will save all that mess for a rainy day. :-)
So now here I am working full time, being a mom, social butterfly, and trying to be the best girlfriend that I can be. All that is so tiring. I started working full time about 3 weeks ago--i'm the facility manager for a self storage facility and I also dabble a little in the PA (personal assistant) for a lady that I work with---it's soo much fun and keeps me pretty busy during the day--which I love!--makes my days go by so fast-which is wonderful because i'm ready to get home to my little man--he's on this crazy stupid sleep patern though--from 6pm-6am--kinda makes a little crazy that I can't really do anything as far as errands go--oh well!--at least he' s up and ready to go in the morning when I take him to the babysitter. There needs to be about another 8 hours in the day--especially for working moms.
Ross is off work today (ross is a manager of a restaurant--and his 12 hour work days are ridiculous) and so on my lunch break i'm going to meet up with him and my little man and probably grab a bite to eat at one of the fast growing popular restaurants here in town.
Last night I got home and Ross was busy cooking dinner for us--rib eyes with mac and cheese--yummmm. We scarfed that down like it was our last meal and then I rocked my little man to sleep---well attempted to anyway--he had a different idea that included romping around in his crib until he was exhausted and passed out on his face--don't worry--I rolled him over. :-) *sigh* that little man has my heart wrapped around his tiny little finger. Ross sister Hilary came to see us and her boyfriend Zac and his brother came over and it was wonderful to see everyone. I haven't had the chance to really catch up with anyone since I have been working so it was great of them to pay us a visit. Then to top off my night--I fell asleep watching the news--what's happened to me?! I used to fall asleep after a long night of hanging out with my friends and playing cards--swapped that for hanging out with my best friend (Ross) and my little cuddler Liam---Grade A swap if I say so.
Okay well I must be going for now but till tomorrow think about this---think of something that you enjoy more than anything in this world---what would you swap it for??
Remember to recycle!
